HONG KONG, OUR FINAL DAY!

The rain finally caught up with us this morning—but just a sprinkle!  First thing on the agenda (Can you guess?) was our last breakfast in Hong Kong!  And it was a dandy!

With a message like this on my morning coffee cup, it was sure to be a great day!!!

John got a bun!  He got a bun!  And with the first bite he declared it, “Simply divine!”  This was how the locals ate them so John just followed suit!  🤪

After breakfast, we went back to the room, packed, and Grabbed it to the Ship Terminal to meet our boat!  The terminal was pristine and before we knew it, we were onboard the Regent Explorer, where we will be hanging out for the next two weeks!

We had lunch poolside (yes, it was overcast and drippy),

and had to wait awhile before the announcement came saying our rooms were ready!  We were excited to see our room and get unpacked so that we could explore the ship!  We found our accommodations AMAZING,

the only thing lacking was SUNSHINE!

We have a walk-in closet,

double sinks, and

a bathtub!  All the conveniences of home!

We met up with Dave and Michelle for a cocktail before dinner.  John enjoyed the welcome drink, a Peppermint Sour.  (I did not! 😁)

And, would you believe I DID NOT take another photo the entire evening?  We had a lovely dinner, watched the light show over the harbor, set sail at 9:00PM, and bid a fond farewell to Hong Kong. The main show was a comedian named Scott Williams, who was very good.  Afterwards we gathered in the Explorer Lounge and listened to a Polish duo, Boogie and Kasia.  AND I DID NOT TAKE A SINGLE PHOTO!  Oops!  I’ll have to make up for it tomorrow!
