Once again, John and I were awoken by our doorbell ringing, announcing the arrival of our coffee and breakfast! (Have I mentioned how WONDERFUL it was sleeping on this boat?) It was another big time night of rocking with 6+ foot waves (good for us but not so good for those who suffer with motion sickness).
FINALLY we were able to get WIFI! Hugho, the Business Center Manager, informed me that while we were docked and then sailing through China’s waterways, the WIFI would be unstable. (And he was correct!) After breakfast we grabbed a table in the sunshine in The Library and I finally got this blog updated!
John had already picked up our passports (they take them, then give them back, then take them—not quite sure why!) while I got ready. We had an entire day free of anything scheduled until my 4:00 yoga class and John’s 4:00 visit to the sauna!
We ate lunch in La Veranda and had fun watching everyone trying their best to walk a straight line! (More failed than succeeded!)
There was a Blackjack Tournament scheduled, however, when we got to the casino it hadn’t started yet. (Not a lot of gamblers were on this cruise!) John tried his hand at roulette and…
the slots. He got to play for a while, but walked out empty handed!
Suddenly, we noticed that we were surrounded by beautiful aqua blue waters.
I looked to see where we were on Google Maps. Had we sailed into a different sea? Nope! We will sail all the way to Busan, South Korea via the East China Sea. (No clue why the water changed color.)
John opted to listen to The Speaker’s Series called THE HISTORY OF MODERN KOREA. I opted to chill until my yoga class!
Later, we enjoyed cocktails before dinner while listening to Boogie and Kasia,
witnessed a beautiful sunset,
and John enjoyed yet another cocktail!
The four of us had a delicious steak dinner at Prime 7 before heading to the theatre.
The show was called “Liar’s Club” and was absolutely hysterical!
It was another great day at sea! One would think they would be a bit boring, but they seem to just fly by! Up early tomorrow to tour Busan, South Korea!
