OUR LAST DAY AT SEA!

 John and I woke up this morning to beautiful blue skies and sea, 

and to yet another attempt at convincing us that it was our anniversary!

Since this was our last Sea Day we took FULL advantage of RELAXATION MODE!  After lunch we got cosy in The Library and I read my book while John read his IPad!  Nothing was on the agenda until I went to a yoga class at 4:00.  (That RELAXING day flew by, darn it!)

Before we knew it, it was time for cocktails and some music with Boogie and Kasia, followed by an amazing dinner at Pacific Rim.  Our reservations were not until 8:30 and the evening show is at 9:30, so we knew we would probably miss it.  No one at the table was terribly sad about that because the entertainment was a balloon performer—a guy that made balloon art.  The description in Passages, our daily newsletter, said “Not to be mistaken for a Kids Show.”  (Whatever!)

The food was OHSOGOOD and OHSOPRETTY!

We actually finished dinner in time to see a bit of the show and were we ever happy about that!  It was UNBELIEVABLE what this guy, Syan, could do with balloons!  He actually holds the title of  WORLD CHAMPION BALLOON ARTIST!  (A well deserved honor, to be sure!)

If you are ever on a ship and Syan is on the entertainment schedule, skip dinner if you have to, but definitely go see him!!!

After the show we mustered up enough fortitude to enjoy one after dinner drink (brought to us by the BEST bartenders around, Alvi and Jonahtan)

and more music by Boogie and Kasia.  We were happy we dug deep with the fortitude as the dance floor was filled to the max and the music was great!

The realization has hit all four of us that this cruise has gone faster than we’d like and before we know it we’ll be heading home!  We just want everything to SLOW DOWN a bit!  Tomorrow we have a seven hour tour to Kyoto, Japan scheduled!  We saw an episode of Feed Phil that took place in Kyoto and it looked AMAZING!  So we are excited for yet another good day tomorrow!
