HONG KONG, OUR FINAL DAY!

The rain finally caught up with us this morning—but just a sprinkle!  First thing on the agenda (Can you guess?) was our last breakfast in Hong Kong!  And it was a dandy! With a message like this on my morning coffee cup, it was sure to be a great day!!! John got a bun!  He got a bun!  And with the first bite he declared it, “Simply divine!”  This was how the locals ate them so John just followed suit!  ðŸ¤ª After breakfast, we went back to the room, packed, and Grabbed it to the Ship Terminal to meet our boat!  The terminal was pristine and before we knew it, we were onboard the Regent Explorer, where we will be hanging out for the next two weeks! We had lunch poolside (yes, it was overcast and drippy), and had to wait awhile before the announcement came saying our rooms were ready!  We were excited to see our room and get unpacked so that we could explore the ship!  We found our accommodations AMAZING, the only thing lacking was SUNSHINE! HONG KONG, DAY THREE!

We woke up to another bonus day in Hong Kong, weather-wise!  Although, luckily, rain was out of the forecast for the day, we carried our umbrellas just in case!  We walked by this restaurant and John decided this was the place for today’s gourmet breakfast! OMGoodness, will you look at the mouth-watering pastry’s that were being offered!  I couldn’t believe it when John opted for toast,  and it came out exactly how August likes it, buttered with no crust! John chose well, as the restaurant was jam packed with hungry (and happy) patrons! John was one of those hungry (and happy) patrons! Last night at dinner, Salinee told us that the Palace Museum was a must see.  We decided to give it a try and began our morning walk in its’ direction!  We passed by AMAZING flowers, lots of FRESH vegetables, and beautiful architecture!
